Growing from the previous logo (a 1970s-era illustration of a tree and letterforms), the new mark is more contemporary, yet still connected to the former symbol. This decision was made so that the new identity was not seen as a radically different direction. The paper choice and color palette reference the street where the Library is located as well as the beautiful, rural nature of its location.
